This week in the frame shop, I’m showcasing how we plan and deliver on art framing projects for large, multi-floor facilities.

To highlight how we do that, let’s look at the art package we did for The Crestmoor, a 12-story luxury senior living residence in Nashville, Tennessee. And let me tell you, the Chestmoor is absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn’t mind living there myself!

This art project was designed by Donna Guerra & Associates, so a big thank-you to Donna and Mary Pat for bringing us on board.

Designing for Comfort & Class

When you’re creating art for a space like this, every piece matters. From selecting the right scale for the walls, to choosing artwork that feels warm, modern, and sophisticated—we’re focused on making every floor feel like home.

The process includes sourcing, custom framing, layout planning, and careful installation prep. It’s a full team effort to ensure the art complements both the architecture and the atmosphere.

Go Behind the Scenes

Want to see exactly how it all comes together? Check out the video to take a closer look at the details behind the design.

The “behind the scenes” processes featured in the video:

  • Specifications book (“spec book”) showing all of the framing information. This includes the size and location of the needed artwork, all tied to a marked floor plan with installer information.
  • High-end printing for exceptional quality
  • Meticulous mounting and matting processes
  • Building the custom frames
