Pleasantville is a 1998 American fantasy comedy-drama film. The story centers on two siblings who wind up trapped in a 1950s TV show, set in a small Midwest town, where residents are seemingly perfect. Pleasantville is filmed in black and white.

Their presence begins to disrupt the perfection of the TV show and slowly, parts of Pleasantville change from black-and-white to color, including flowers and the faces of people who experience new bursts of emotion and foreign concepts such as books, fire and rain begin to appear. Wikipedia

This project in Bandera, Texas reminds me of Pleasantville, adding a pop of color to a black and white world. Our client’s relative was a volunteer fireman in Bandera, so this image of the fire truck was a perfect fit.
